Gold Coast Airport Spotting
  
1- Adina Avenue

Great photographs can be taken from Adina Avenue you will often find spotters up the end of the street.This is the best spot to photograph aircraft taxing on charlie for a 14 departure.For 32 departures I prefer Diamond Betty
Spots Field (skate park) (this is my favourite spot to photograph aircraft at OOL).


Conditions-
Time of day- Till 12pm
Ladder-Required
Lense-Not above 150mm (taxiway) 200mm (runway)

Directions-

Turn onto Terminal drive and then on your right turn onto Eastern avenue and follow that which turns into Adina avenue and follow that to the end of the street. You are able to park your car on the side of Adina avenue.











2-Diamond Betty Park

Excellent landing and take off photos can be taken from the fenceline or the skatepark.

Time Of Day-All Day
Ladder-Required for line up shots
Lense-Not above 150mm
Directions-
Turn left into Kirrabin street and then left onto Coolangatta road and follow  Coolangatta road until you come to Boyd street then turn left onto Boyd street  and park in the skate park carpark and it's only a 5 minute walk to the fenceline.



 3-Tugan Seahawks 
The Seahawks is for mainly the afternoon.

Time Of Day-Afternoon Only
Ladder-Not Required but you can still use it

                                             Directions-
Follow the directions to spotting area 2 but instead continue to the Tugan Seahawks football club and turn left into the club carpark.
