Ever Wondered What The Largest Plane To Come Into OOL? A 747SP. The  747SP visited OOL in January 1981 on a promotional tour. The aircraft was operated by Qantas VH-EAA which was named Tweed/Gold Coast the aircraft exited the Qantas fleet on March 17 2002 and the engines were removed and the aircraft was crushed up on the 25th July 202 with over 75 000 flight hours
